Gift Cards: Walmart / Price Chopper / Shoe Dept / Payless Shoes
Shoes are particularly helpful as it’s hard to get comfortable sturdy shoes and work boots from second-hand stores. Hygiene Products: We give out bags filled with hygiene products that are not covered by food stamps and we are always refilling our stock. Soap/Razors/Shaving Cream/Shampoo/Body Wash/Combs/Deodorant/small bottles of laundry detergent and dish-washing detergent/toothbrushes and toothpaste/socks/seasonal gloves and hats. These products let our folks keep up appearances while they look for a job. |

Bikes:
We accept donations of useable bikes which are offered to folks who need a ride. It may make the difference in being able to get and keep a job. We have a super mechanic who puts them in tip top shape for the road. Always welcome are bike locks, lights and helmets.
Clothing Shed:
Donations of used wearable clothing benefit ReEntry Columbia in more than one way. There is a clothing donation shed right by the door to our office. When you put your gently used clothing in the shed, we get money from St. Pauli Textiles who maintain the shed and we can check through the bags for any items that will be useful for our folks: casual and work clothes for men of all sizes; gloves and hats; sweat clothes; jackets.

Do you have successful work experience you can share with a returning citizen? Become a mentor to someone who is on the path to becoming a productive citizen. Help someone make their way through the maze of bureaucracy in filling out forms, applying to appropriate employment, and seeking stable housing.
Jail Class Instructor:
We offer classes to folks at Columbia County Jail so they can make good use of their time while incarcerated. Classes are Monday at 10 am for women and 3:30 pm for men. We schedule particular classes based on the availability of the instructor. We are looking for instructors for Yoga or Tai Chi; Public Speaking/ Communications/ Writing; Resume Development and Job Retention.
